Getting to the Bullitt Foundation.
The Bullitt Foundation office is located in Seattle’s First Hill neighborhood at 1212 Minor Avenue, in the former carriage house to the Stimson-Green Mansion. Guests are welcome to make use of our bike rack and parking lot.
Getting Here on Foot
Hills aside, Seattle is quite a walkable city. From downtown Seattle, start by walking east on Union or University Streets. After crossing 6th Avenue, look ahead for a stairway. Ascend the stairs into Freeway Park, follow the trail to the east (passing under under 8th Avenue, as the trails converge on what would be University), and continue ascending to 9th Avenue. Proceed east on University three more blocks, turn right on Minor Avenue, and bear left into the small parking lot halfway down the block. A sign reading “1212” is posted near the sidewalk at the entry. The office is located at the far end of the driveway.
Getting Here by Bus
By Bus from Downtown Seattle: Take the No. 2 bus running south on Third Avenue between Stewart and Seneca Streets. Get off the bus at the first stop after the bus crosses Boren Avenue on Seneca Street. Walk east to Minor Avenue and cross the street to the north. Cross Minor Avenue; you are now in front of Stimson-Green Mansion. Continue north and turn right into the small parking lot halfway down the block. A sign reading “1212” is posted near the sidewalk at the entry. The office is located at the far end of the driveway.

Getting Here from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport
Exit the airport and follow signs to I-5 Northbound. Take Exit 164A (Dearborn/James/Madison). to Madison. Turn right at the light at Madison Street. Travel east to Boren Avenue; turn left. Continue two blocks to Seneca Street; turn right. Turn left in one block onto Minor Avenue. Go one-half block and turn right into the small parking lot. A sign reading “1212” is posted near the sidewalk at the entry. The Foundation office is located at the far end of the driveway.
Getting Here by Car
By Car from South of Seattle: From I-5, take Exit 164A (Dearborn/James/Madison) to Madison. At the light, turn right onto Madison Street. Travel east to Boren Avenue; turn left. Continue two blocks to Seneca Street; turn right. Go one block; turn left onto Minor Avenue. Turn right into the small parking lot halfway down the block. A sign reading “1212” is posted near the sidewalk at the entry. The Foundation office is located at the far end of the driveway.
By Car from North of Seattle: From I-5, take Exit 166 (Stewart Street). Travel on Stewart Street to Boren Avenue; turn left. Continue to University Street; turn left. Go one block; turn right onto Minor Avenue. Turn left into the small parking lot halfway down the block. A sign reading “1212” is posted near the sidewalk at the entry. The office is located at the far end of the driveway.
