Alliance for Justice works to strengthen the capacity of the public interest community to influence public policy by offering workshops, technical assistance, and a wealth of tools and information.

BoardSource , a resource for practical information, tools and best practices, training, and leadership development, helps to build strong and effective nonprofit boards.

Capaciteria, a comprehensive, searchable database directory of administrative resources, helps nonprofits leverage their own capacity.

CharityAdvantage educates nonprofits, provides free and donated technology products and services, helps nonprofits create a more professional image and collect online donations, gain greater access to funders, recruit volunteers, network with other nonprofits, educate the community about their programs and services, improve communication with supporters, obtain new members and donors, implement cost-effective marketing, present their organization favorably to grant makers and reduce print and mail costs.

Chronicle of Philanthropy is a publication focused on connecting the nonprofit world with news, jobs, and ideas. The article "Every Board's Guide Guide to Strong Organizational Leadership in 2011" offers advice for nonprofit management in the current economic climate.

CompassPoint Nonprofit Services, a nonprofit training, consulting and research organization, provides nonprofits with the management tools, concepts and strategies necessary to shape change in their communities. CompassPoint’s Board Café is an electronic newsletter exclusively for members of nonprofit boards of directors, offering a menu of ideas, information, opinion, news, and resources to help board members give and get the most out of board service.

EnviroLink maintains a database of thousands of environmental resources and provides internet services to nonprofit organizations.

Environmental Grantmakers Association works with members and partners to promote effective environmental philanthropy by sharing knowledge, fostering debate, cultivating leadership, facilitating collaboration, and catalyzing action. Offers a Fall Retreat for funders to meet and discuss positive environmental and social change.

Environmental Support Center was created by leaders from the environmental activist, environmental justice and environmental funding communities. Their mission is to help grassroots environmental groups sustain their advocacy over time. In its publication entitled "Everybody's Movement" the group calls for a change in the Climate Change Movement, asserting that success depends on partnerships with Low-Income and People of Color Communities.

Triad Urban Center allows free use of its 4,000 square foot office and conference facility to encourage civic exchange and constructive dialogue in Seattle. Available to anyone in the community at no charge, the Triad Urban Center is a meeting space where neighbors can gather and share ideas.

Washington Attorneys Assisting Community Organizations (WAACO) is pleased to announce the publication of the 2009 Edition of the “Washington Nonprofit Handbook: How to Form and Maintain a Nonprofit Organization in Washington State.”  This useful handbook, authored by some of Washington’s top nonprofit and business attorneys, addresses incorporation, application for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, corporate governance, compliance with IRS requirements, international activities, grantmaking, laws regarding fundraising, compliance with Washington state tax laws, fiscal sponsorship, employment issues, intellectual property considerations, and ceasing operations (merger, dissolution, bankruptcy). The handbook is available in pdf format on WAACO’s website.

Washington Technology Center is a statewide economic development organization focused on technology and innovation.
