The Bullitt Foundation Announces the Appointment of Neelima Shah as Program Officer for Urban Ecology
Seattle – The Bullitt Foundation today announced that Neelima Shah has been appointed as a Program Officer. Ms. Shah will oversee the Foundation’s Urban Ecology Program.

Seattle – The Bullitt Foundation today announced that Neelima Shah has been appointed as a Program Officer. Ms. Shah will oversee the Foundation’s Urban Ecology Program.
Prior to joining the Bullitt Foundation, Ms. Shah managed the environment and civic charitable investments in the Pacific Northwest for the Boeing Company. During that time, she developed the company’s regional grant making strategies in these fields and worked to leverage dollars using the power of Boeing employee volunteers.
Before Boeing, Neelima was a Program Officer at the Henry M. Jackson Foundation where she had the opportunity to work with U.S. organizations in the areas of International Affairs, Education, Environment, and Public Service, and also Russian NGOs in the human rights field.
Ms. Shah is a 2005 American German Marshall Fund Fellow and a 2004 World Affairs Council Fellow. She earned her Masters’ of Public Administration at the University of Washington’s Daniel J. Evans School of Public Affairs in 2002, where she was a guest instructor for a grant proposal writing class in 2006. Her undergraduate degree is from the University of California in San Diego.

Ms. Shah will formally join the Bullitt Foundation’s staff on February 2nd.
