Grantmaking Process

The first step in our application process is an inquiry form presenting an overview of your organization’s work. Please answer all questions completely but with the understanding that brevity is appreciated. A program officer will review your entries and may contact you to discuss the idea in more detail.

Once you have been invited to submit a proposal, please follow these eleven steps and mail one unbound copy of the requested information to the Foundation. The Foundation does not accept faxed or electronic applications.

Grantees must complete an entire grant year - and file a final report - prior to reapplication. Submittal of the final report completes all requirements of the current grant, and grantee is then eligible to begin a new Proposal Inquiry.
