Year Value Project Description
2004 $15,000

The grant supported the Climate Protection Program. A stakeholders' group, including representatives from local governments, businesses, and the environmental community, provided direction to the Clean Air Agency, the Puget Sound region, and Washington State on climate protection strategies. By the end of the year the group endorsed a set of recommended strategies to reduce greenhouse gases in the region that focus on energy supply, energy demand, transportation, forestry, and solid waste.
