Grant Details: Alaska Public Waters Coalition 2002a

Natural Heritage Institute applies science, law, economics, and policy to encourage sustainable use of the earth's natural resources and preservation of its ecosystems. The grant supports the work of the Alaska Public Waters Coalition to protect aquatic ecosystems and wild salmon stocks from the significant threat posed by proposed hydroelectric energy development in Alaska.
