Grants

Year Value Project Description
1999 $10,000

Mason County Community Development Council supports wise and far-sighted planning that protects the quality of life in Mason County. The grant supports fees associated with a legal action against the county for its noncompliance with the state Growth Management Act in regard to the potential development of local forest lands, and a related public outreach campaign. $5,000 of the grant supports a one-to-one match challenge grant to help the organization build a financial base that can result in ongoing support for the work of the group.
