Bullitt Environmental Fellowship

The Kootenai Environmental Alliance works to protect and restore the environment of the Idaho Panhandle, with an emphasis on the Coeur d'Alene Basin. The grant supports a project of the Spokane Aquifer Protection Coalition, an alliance of environmental organizations, labor groups, and concerned citizens. The Coalition will mount a legal challenge of water right applications for three natural gas fired power plants seeking to withdraw water from the Spokane-Rathdrum aquifer.
