Citizens for a Bi-national Review of the Dam |
|
The Kettle Range Conservation Group seeks to sustain, restore, and protect wild forests and other natural ecosystems of the Interior Columbia River Basin and increase public awareness of the connection between nature, health, and society. The Kettle Range Conservation Group serves as the fiscal sponsor for Citizens for a Bi-national Review of the Dam, which seeks to prevent over-allocation of water in the Kettle River Watershed due to lack of international coordination on issues of water allocation and water project permitting. The grant supports a project to conduct legal research on water rights allocation in the Kettle River watershed, and use the research in public outreach and education about possible environmental harm from proposed allocations.
