Hood Canal Salmon Enhancement Group works to protect and enhance the genetic diversity and populations of wild salmon in Hood Canal by protection and restoration of habitats, water quality, education, salmon incubators, and other means. The grant supports a project to restore the abundance of wild salmon in the Hood Canal area through research, public education, and stewardship training for residents and landowners.
