Grant Details: Forest Stewardship Council, BC Regional Initiative 2001b

Tides Foundation partners with donors to increase and organize resources for social change, deliver effective grantmaking programs, create opportunities for learning and build community among donors and grantees. It serves as the fiscal sponsor for the Forest Stewardship Council, an organization that supports environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable management of the world's forests. The grant supports an initiative to develop and implement regional wood certification standards for British Columbia.
