BC Spaces is the fiscal sponsor for the Environmental Mining Council of BC, which works to protect the ecological integrity of British Columbia from the impacts of irresponsible mineral development. The grant supports the CouncilĂs work with local groups, government employees, and mine workers to document concerns, research alternatives, and find sustainable solutions to mining problems.
