Bullitt Environmental Fellowship

The Copper River Watershed Project provides residents of the area with a forum to consider approaches for achieving both a diverse economy and healthy ecosystems, while maintaining their quality of life and cultural heritage. The grant supports the development of three forestry certification pilot projects designed to encourage sustainable development in Alaska, encourage self-sufficiency in remote communities, and foster a foundation for adventure, culture, and eco-tourism throughout the state.
