The Chelan-Douglas Land Trust seeks to preserve and enhance lands in Chelan and Douglas Counties for open space, historical significance, habitat diversity, recreation, and quality of life for present and future generations. The grant supports a project to sponsor and organize a Conservation Roundtable. The Roundtable will conduct public programs on conservation issues and assist conservation groups in working together to establish shared priorities, address common challenges, and expand organizational capacity. $5,000 is awarded as a one-to-one challenge grant to raise sustainable local support for the Roundtable.
