Grantee Profile: Center for Maximum Potential Building Systems

The Center for Maximum Potential Building Systems conducts sustainable building design demonstrations, public policy initiatives, and educational activities that promote environmental building through integrating regional materials, renewable energy, resource conservation, and recycling. The grant supports a project to assist the City of SeattleÍs Green Building Team and its Ad Hoc Sustainability Committee in their objective of helping the City make a connection between how the $1 billion worth of new downtown public buildings are designed, constructed, and operated, and how the buildings impact the environment and the protection of salmon.
