The Alpine Lakes Foundation works to preserve the character of Washington's Alpine Lakes Wilderness and Management Unit. The grant supports a project of the Washington Forest Law Center, to protect recreational and scenic areas in Washington State from degradation from logging and other development by compiling an inventory of existing trails and waterways.
