2012 Bullitt Environmental Fellowship Winner: Ricardi Duvil

Ricardi Duvil, a doctoral student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Washington State University, will research the use of nitrate as a remediation technique to prevent methylmercury contamination of freshwater biota in lakes, contamination that can cause severe heath effects in wildlife and humans.

2011 Bullitt Environmental Fellowship Winner

Erim Gomez, a new doctoral candidate in Natural Resource Sciences at Washington State University, will study the conservation of endangered species and the ecology and sustainability of freshwater ecosystems in the Moses Lake area of central Washington.

2010 Bullitt Environmental Fellowship Winner

Tracy Fuentes, a student in the Interdisciplinary PhD program in Urban Design and Planning at the University of Washington, will explore how land use and land use changes affect plants at the local, watershed, and regional scales.
